What Is Coaching?

Coaching is not consulting, or training, or therapy.
Coaching is always looking forward. It starts from a position of acceptance of where you are now, and then defines the path to where you want to be.
Coaching is totally about you. You are a unique individual, with unique goals, unique beliefs and unique values. A coach will use proven techniques and tools to understand the unique you and how to use that uniqueness to achieve your goals.
Coaching is supportive. A coach will understand when you need help and advice and when you don’t.
Coaching is challenging. if you want to succeed you need to be challenged and a coach will do that. Making sure that you find the greatness within to achieve the results you desire.
Coaching is about changing what you believe is possible, and changing what you believe about yourself. Removing those beliefs that do not serve you and creating new and empowering beliefs that will serve you.
Coaching is about understanding why you do what you do and using that understanding to get you doing more of what you need to do to achieve your success.
